April 2025 — March 2026
Opportunity Green’s 2025/26 annual report highlights a year of significant impact, ambitious legal action and growing influence across hard-to-decarbonise sectors.
This year, we reached our first court hearing at the European Court of Justice, secured landmark rulings against LNG greenwashing in the cruise industry, and filed an unprecedented OECD complaint against steel giant ArcelorMittal. Our work supporting climate vulnerable countries at the International Maritime Organization helped advance negotiations on a landmark Net-Zero Framework for international shipping. Meanwhile, the SASHA Coalition grew to 18 members, strengthening its influence with policymakers.
Our team continued to grow, welcoming seven new staff and establishing Opportunity Green Europe as a fully operational organisation in Brussels. We published 28 publications, secured 585 pieces of media coverage and launched our new website.

April 2024 — March 2025
Opportunity Green’s latest annual report highlights our key impacts across hard-to-decarbonise sectors. We’ve continued our shipping policy work through our International Maritime Organization engagement, launched groundbreaking legal action including our first judicial challenge at the European Court of Justice, and secured a successful greenwashing complaint against MSC Cruises. The SASHA Coalition has grown with 9 new members and expanded its policy influence through our new Brussels office.
Our team has grown by 10 people, launching our analytics team and expanding to Brussels and Ireland. We’ve continued to strengthen our working culture and participated in the RACE report for the first time as part of our commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

Opportunity Green’s 2023/24 annual report looks at the key achievements of our work in shipping policy and legal action and charts how we’ve developed the SASHA Coalition.
Our team has grown from 10 to 16 people during this time and we’ve continued to develop our working culture and our approach to equality, diversity and inclusion.

June 2022 — March 2023
In the nine-month period covered in this report, Opportunity Green made astounding progress. We have continued to strengthen our partnerships to ensure a just and equitable transition for the international shipping and aviation sectors, taken bold and innovative legal action, launched the SASHA Coalition, and grown our team from one to 10 staff members.
