Our work

We work closely with countries and civil society organisations to reduce emissions in line with a 1.5°C pathway to net zero by 2050, and we believe that this transition should be just and equitable, leaving no one behind.

Our work involves actively engaging in global climate discussions, such as the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Climate Diplomacy

International Maritime Organization (IMO)

We support climate ambitious, just, and equitable policymaking at the IMO by providing independent legal and policy research and technical support to countries and organisations that would like to be more involved in the IMO’s climate discussions.

Working with climate vulnerable countries, including Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and Least Developed Countries (LDCs), our work supports representative participation at the meetings.

International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)

Working closely with climate vulnerable countries, our goal is to highlight what is outlined in international law and ensure this complies with aviation climate obligations.

We aim to be trusted advisors to SIDS and LDCs by offering technical support to their representatives in aviation and climate talks.

We cannot achieve a net zero world in a just and equitable way without putting climate justice at the heart of everything we do.

“I couldn’t be prouder to lead a dedicated and experienced team ensuring that global multilateralist processes remain fair, transparent and ambitious.”
